A leading tech firm needed to pivot its casino rewards platform into a high-volume uniform distribution system for a major US airline. The airline's legacy setup relied on manual paperwork, physical hub visits, and disconnected spreadsheets. Employees had no visibility into their annual uniform point balance until checkout, support staff were buried in sizing and eligibility tickets, and returns were handled through slow, manual back-office channels.

The project required two distinct yet integrated experiences. For the 50,000+ employees, we built a mobile-first "Smart Wallet" app to manage complex annual allowances on the go. Simultaneously, we designed a robust desktop back-office for administrators, enabling granular control over kit configurations, "order-on-behalf" capabilities for support teams, and real-time inventory management—ensuring seamless synchronization between individual compliance and global logistics.
I architected a consumer-grade self-service uniform portal that sits as an intelligent entitlement layer atop the legacy rewards engine. Instead of dumping 450+ raw inventory SKUs onto employees, the platform automatically filters the catalogue into rank- and role-approved collections (flight deck, cabin crew, ground staff). We replaced the generic rewards balance with a dedicated uniform allowance wallet, designed an intuitive self-service returns workflow with airport hub drop-off passes, and built a real-time 'View As Employee' shadowing mode for customer service agents.

Union contracts and role-based allocations were complex. Instead of rewriting legacy databases, we built a pre-validation middleware layer that matches employee credentials to allowed garments before querying inventory.
Customer service calls were historically bogged down because agents had to guess what employees were seeing. I designed a secure "View As" shadowing mode with security banners, allowing agents to diagnose blocks and execute overrides live.
Returns previously required phone calls and paper slips. We designed a 3-step digital return flow generating scannable QR passes for airport hub kiosks, with automatic point refunds upon physical check-in.
Core interaction models were grounded in proven psychological principles to reduce cognitive load and keep complex workflows intuitive for first-time users.

"I need to create and manage launch kits for specific airline roles without coordinating across spreadsheets and email chains."

Goals
By replacing disjointed spreadsheets and paper trails with automated entitlement logic, the platform eliminated logistical friction across hubs while providing staff with an empowering self-service experience.
